Baghouse Controls/Particulate Monitoring Systems
We represent FilterSense, the world's leading developer and manufacturer of
sensing technologies and control systems for process filters and air pollution
control systems such as dust collectors and mist eliminators. Based in Beverly,
MA, FilterSense ProFLOW particulate monitors and filter leak detectors for
stacks, baghouses and cartridge filters are renowned throughout the world for
reliability and user-friendly data presentation.
Employing FilterSense's proprietary combination of induction-sensing and
protected-probe technologies, (i.e. ProFLOW Technology) these products perform
reliably in tough applications including corrosive lead smelters, tenacious
carbon black production and wet chemical spray dryers.
ProFLOW monitors also set the standard for regulatory control applications with absolute (i.e. normalized) data output formats to eliminate errors in emissions level quantification and EPA reporting.
Overview
The ProFLOW product line consist of electronics and sensors for monitoring
solid or liquid particulate flow and emissions. Along with innovative user
interfaces, these products employ two unique technologies invented by IMPOLIT.
Induction-Sensing: The processing of small,
induced electrical currents, generated by the electrons (charge) of flowing
particles, into an output that is linear to mass flow.
Protected-Probe: A layer of non-conductive
material that completely isolates the conductor from direct contact with the
particles and gas.
The combination of a Protected-Probe and Induction-Sensing, enables reliable
operation with conductive particles, dust buildups, corrosive films and even
heavy condensate on the probe.
